Welcome reader! The year was amazing, and big things have been achieved. The newsletter managed to surpass 7,000 subscribers and also improved lives along the way. What better thing could you ask for? The next year? Everyone reading this already knows the answer. Things are only going to get better. To wrap up this year, we have compiled things worth mentioning into one post, including our plans moving forward and reflecting on what has happened. Plus, there is a Q&A part for all of our readers.
Year In A Review
Where We Are: We find it funny how writing a newsletter-blog has been working out. This year, there were over 400k views (based on the Substack dashboard), which is not something anyone should take for granted. Suppose someone had told us that one day that would happen, we would have laughed them out of the room—something we have repeated multiple times and will continue to do. Those views are just a cog in the wheel. More importantly, we have received between 30 and 50 DMs and comments thanking us for the advice and how they managed to get the role they wanted. Another type of DM we have gotten is how someone started their own business or invested their money. Conclusions? All of those share the same baseline characteristics. They improved someone's position. To put it better—they improved someone's life. Without a doubt, the trend will continue into the following year.
If we had to put a number around it… Around $1 -1.5 million per year was created for others. At the same time, this is impossible to measure. But if we take 30 individuals and a defensive approach to the equation. Not counting on anyone starting a side business and scaling it further… The number would be much higher. This makes it even harder to come up with the amount created for others. The results speak for themselves, and that is what matters. We want to thank everyone for sending us win-type DMs and commenting on how they have been influenced. This is what it’s all about and why we are doing this. It was all your effort, with some strategy guidance and proper prioritization. Feel free to reach out and send your feedback if you have improved your life using our material. Comments, Telegram messages, or DMs on Twitter don’t matter—all of them are welcome.
Reflecting Back
Skool Platform: It's great for organizing everything and keeping it clean. But no one can deny that it has a VBulletin feel that the younger audience can’t grasp. No group chat (Ovens has a good reason why). No instant dopamine feedback. You know the results of those? Three months were enough for us to realize that it was not a way forward and that hosting part of our audience there was not optimal—far from it. As with everything else, it will not work out if you know something is not getting traction as it should → cut your losses as soon as possible. Telegram has been here for months and will continue to do so.
Our Favorite Reads: There have been several good ones this year. We even reached a point where the article index became necessary. The best thing is that we managed to find a better balance between all the relevant topics we covered. Meaning that more individuals can apply the advice and improve their lives. Covering WiFi money (side business), crypto, career and life. This can be a bit intensive for those only interested in one topic. But it makes sense when looking at things objectively with the bigger picture in mind. To not make this unnecessary longer—here are our favorite 10 reads from 2024.
1) Maximize Efficiency Without Sacrificing Your Life: There is a reason this is pinned. A relatively light read should provide you with all the fundamentals and an overview of what you should focus on. The efficiency blueprint is one way to put it. If you have to read anything on this website… Read this.
2) How Not to Waste Your 20s: This is the type of advice we wish we had in our 20s. It is a collection of practical advice on what you should NOT do. Life has never been easier, and the results are visible. Laziness, a lost sense of direction, golden ticket chasing, and everything else that comes with it. The younger you are, the more applicable this is to your situation.
3) Lifestyle Traps to Avoid: Similar to the article above, but with a few twists and more important things that even those who are not in their 20s anymore experience. The reality is that even if you are doing things wrong or not giving 100% of your effort—you can still win big by avoiding lifestyle traps.
4) Spending Your Money To Improve Your Life: This article is hard to beat regarding the input and output you get. It is arguably one of the most practical reads on our list. Who doesn’t want to improve their life?
5) Bet On Long-Term Degeneracy: You never know if it is sad that predictions made in articles such as this one are coming true and everyone is witnessing them or that you have an opportunity to bet on them. We are leaving it up to you to decide.
6) Social Skills: The Most Important Skill In The Next 10 Years: The more we replace and remove ourselves from certain daily activities, the worse we will become as a society at communicating. The easiest example? New hires. The effects of social media are visible, and it has never been harder to find young people who know how to communicate. Do you know how to separate yourself from the crowd? The future is bright.
7) Your Next 3 Years? Run While Everyone Else Walks: This is an important one for the end. Articles such as this one genuinely age great. Most predictions you can find in those articles turn out to be reality. This read? It's an important one. Reality check on what is happening and where things are going. Want an advantage over the others? This is something you should read to prepare yourself.
8) Reminder On How To Get Rich(er) In 2025: Practical - a straight-to-the-point read that will remind you what to focus on next year. It covers the basics (everything this website is about) to ensure you achieve the most ROI in the long run.
9) Practical Advice For Aspiring Business Owners: What everyone needs to read before starting their business. This is one of our rare hand-holding posts on how to approach starting your side business and what you should pay attention to. If you are in that position… Read this post—it will save you a lot of time.
10) Common SaaS Misconceptions: We would classify this one as underrated… But considering it is SaaS only, there are no surprises. We don’t like to cover SaaS as others would before it attracts specific kinds of individuals. Over the last few years, the courses have created a stigma around SaaS and what it takes to run one—meaning there will be a specific audience. We might change that next year and provide you with more angles.
The greatest results in life are usually attained by simple means and the exercise of ordinary qualities. These may for the most part be summed up in these two: common sense and perseverance. – Owen Feltham
Plans For The Future
Articles: The idea is not to make any structural changes going forward. We aim to keep it 80/20 between practical posts and those that are fun to read (to a point). There is a reason why practical articles work out better in the end and why they are more popular with readers. Some readers want WiFi money, some tech, and others crypto. Our idea? We are sticking to a broad approach. This makes it more interesting for us, yet it provides everyone reading this with a bigger picture and gives us more than enough topics to cover. The newsletter schedule will remain unchanged—one article per week for the price/value you are getting is fair.
Resources: For those who didn’t know about it, the resource section currently contains 50+ pages. The plan is to keep adding and expanding on the same topics: WiFi money, offer building, and psychology. It is hard to say. Without a doubt in the next year, there will be over 100 pages for everyone subscribed to download and use to their advantage.
Telegram: A wild place (full-on degeneracy at moments) full of information and material. In terms of plans for the future—there is so much we can do about it. Organizing everything and keeping things clean is the biggest and hardest task. Skool helped with that, but we all know how that ended... Bonding members together has been successful, and the group has had multiple IRL meetups, which we initially thought impossible. Yet here we are…
Guest Posts: Something we have been thinking about and working on. The best part about running an anonymous account and giving advice that improves lives is building connections and accessing groups, information, and other insights others don’t have. This is similar to a theory about the internet turning P2P—which is becoming more apparent each day. The theory is true, and the trend will continue in that direction. This year, we collected a few guest posts and valuable insights into how things work from other professionals we respect. One is by Fullstack, while BowTiedGlobe did the other one. Both are valuable and applicable right away. Once Q4 is done and all the madness is over, we will work on bringing more guest posts across different categories. What is great about them is that they provide insights into how someone operates—imagine having insight into someone making over 500k per year in eCom without any of the fluff or nonsense you see on YouTube. Just text-packed with valuable information ready for you to go through and apply. Another collaboration we are proud of was with the one and only
—Warkitchen team. Since we have been following them for ages, having an opportunity to work with them closely has been a pleasure. If you have never heard about them or their project… You already know what to do.Wrap-Up: The year 2024 has been great. Multiple wins for all of you reading this. Multiple wins for us. The next year? We all know the answer to that. The following year will be better… No doubt. Next year is always better if you follow practical advice and put in maximum effort. Take the next few days easier, spend them with those who matter, and make sure you are ready for what is coming. Do what you must to prepare yourself—you want a clear head start compared to the others. We all know that the best is yet to come.
Every action you take is a vote for the type of person you wish to become. - James Clear
The 2024 Year End - Q&A
This is the second time we are holding a Q&A on this website, and the first time we did it was done completely differently. What is different this time is that we didn’t let anyone leave questions beforehand, and we plan to hold them in the comments section. The idea is to answer as many questions as possible. We are unsure what kind of feedback this will receive and whether this is something that readers want us to continue doing throughout the year. A once-per-month Q&A for paid subscribers is something we could do next year—make sure you leave your feedback in the comments section. We would love to hear if that is something you are interested in.
Please ensure you understand: 1) You can ask whatever you want. We will let you know if we don’t know or have no experience with it—lifestyle, career, business, crypto. 2) No life stories or essays. Keep everything under 5 sentences, as it should be more than enough for us to get your question and give you an answer. 3) Since this is available for free and paid subs—dumb and broad questions with zero value will be ignored.
Read how to maximize efficiency without sacrificing your life first—there is a good chance you will find your answers there.
The Q&A will run until the end of the year, allowing everyone to get answers.
