First 150: How To Get Most Out Of This Website + Giveaway
150: Many more to come... Plus some gifts.
Welcome reader! 150 posts. Big number. It is hard to believe it would ever come to this point. What we love about creating posts like this is that they let us reflect on whether things are working. Giving you a reality check. Similar to what we did earlier with our first 100 posts. The idea is to go over our favorite posts, where the newsletter is heading, updates (and the Telegram group) + giveaway that everyone can join.
Our Favorite Posts So Far
In no particular order.
1) FAQ - How to Escape The Mediocrity & Rise Above the Average (Lifestyle, Biz, Mindset): If you have to read anything from our website… It is this post. A more refined version of maximizing efficiency without sacrificing your life.
2) Spending Your Money To Improve Your Life (Lifestyle, Mindset): Once you start making "real money" your highest priority for spending should be improving your quality of life. Buying an air purifier for those who struggle with allergies? Hard to beat ROI. Regular blood tests to check your deficiencies? Hard to beat ROI. Focus on those things once you start making money. Items that will improve your life. Not only will they improve your life. They will give you insights you never thought about on how you will be able to get more out of doing less. Leave that Rolex and MacBook Pro for later, after you take care of the stuff that will give you more back: health, energy, and time.
3) Bet On Long-Term Degeneracy (Lifestyle): One of those posts that is hard to swallow. It provides a general overview and semi-doomer approach to how growing trends affect everyone - trends you should never bet against. This is a quick and powerful post for those trying to start their businesses and win over the masses.
4) 1 Year, 2 Skills - Max Effort (Biz): Our general outline on learning new skills and the best way to ensure long-term success. Everyone tells you to go all in on one thing. No one tells you that it is the easiest way to burn out. The whole point of this? Do the opposite.
5) What Normies Will Never Be Able To Understand (Mindset): A framework and overview of what you should pay attention to when dealing with normies. Not only what you should pay attention to… What you should avoid doing in the first place if you don’t want to be seen as one of them. Being surrounded by normies = lifestyle trap that only a few understand.
6) Understand The Risk Management Or Pay The Price Later (Biz): Unsexy post that flew under the radar for the most part. Why? Because it is boring - yet fundamental. Complete overview of what you should focus on while building wealth and how to set yourself up for long-term success. Not only for long-term success, but also to minimize the risk by doing so.
7) 27 - The Year Everything Changes (Lifestyle): It is funny how accurate this post is. Something happens when you reach 27. No one can deny it. This is a longer post for our younger readers about preparing themselves as best as possible. If you can ever prepare yourself for what is to come…
8) How to Break Into Tech Sales: A Strategic Game Plan (Career): Careers are not as popular as they used to be, and there are many reasons. We have witnessed it firsthand after running multiple surveys and receiving feedback from younger readers. The game has changed, and many young people have realized that traditional paths may not be optimal. On the other hand, this guide is one of the best for getting into a professional environment. What used to work is not how it works now - you must adapt to get what you want. The best part about this game plan is that it is not limited to tech sales. It works for any white collar role out there. Only requirement? Hard effort.
9) Python: Automate Your 9-5 (Biz, Career): This is applicable yet outdated. We must be realistic and consider the solutions that have been released since the post was published. If you have yet to handle your situation, automate everything you can. This read will help. Our plan is to update this soon and expand on how to automate your business processes with newer and better tools that require less technical knowledge.
10) Life Is What You Make It (Mindset): The title says it all. We are all creators of our reality. On top of that, life comes down to making a few proper decisions, while everything else is a side quest that favors those big decisions. One of those posts that never got the attention it deserved due to poor formatting and big chunks of text. Something we tried not to repeat and have improved over time. In our opinion? An underrated read.
11) Articles That Will Impact Your Life (Lifestyle): We own a whole database of old articles and websites that you won’t be able to find with a basic Google search anymore. This post is a tiny fraction of what we have and what everyone should read. Inspiring, provocative, and unique. The old internet was something else, and it is hard not to feel nostalgic.
12) Escaping The Digital Rat Race (Mindset): Learning to consume less information has never been more important. Why? The abundance of information and mediocre content doesn’t necessarily mean it is positive for someone trying to learn something or improve. This post is exactly about that. Learning how to consume less and get more out of it.
Updates And Where We Are Heading
Substack chat: Something we primarily want to use this as a place where members can ask questions and get answers. So far, it has been less successful than we originally wanted. But that comes as no surprise considering that the Telegram group has over 100k messages at this point. Meaning that subscribers prefer it over this. The reality is that there is no reason to run both simultaneously. However, we believe sending messages and letting everyone know what is happening is valuable and much easier. The decision is that the chat will stay only for paid subscribers - since we share some material that most of the others would gatekeep.
Telegram group: Where do you start with this place? It is a wild one. Yet one that is full of information you won’t be able to find anywhere else. Big thanks to everyone who has been with us all this time. A year has passed, and there are many day 1 members inside. The group has been closed to new members for some time, allowing us to keep the community feeling alive. The plan for this year is to open it two more times. Once next month and once in Q4 before the holidays. The idea is to keep it open both times for two weeks to let those who want to join and participate.
What has been happening and where things are heading: The part we are most proud of is how our writing style and consistency have changed. There is no longer a solid post following three mediocre ones. The baseline has been set. Meaning that overall, the work has improved. What topics are we going to cover? Similar to what we already did: online business, mindset, and lifestyle. This will allow us to deliver the best work possible - while covering the topics most subscribers are interested in. Helping more lives and getting people into a better position than yesterday. Another area we want to focus on is customer support and building relationships with readers. Reaching out to everyone and resolving the problem or getting feedback on specifics has been of ridiculous value. Final comment? We can confidently say that things will only get better, and more lives will be impacted.
Giveaway: Yearly Subscriptions
Since post 150 is going live, we thought a giveaway would be appropriate. Everyone can enter the competition, including both free and paid subscribers. There will be several winners depending on the level of engagement this gets. Rules could not be simpler:
Every like, comment, and restack on recent posts on our Substack counts as a vote. Multiple winners will be randomly selected by Monday. This should be more than enough time for everyone to enter.
Thanks to everyone who left feedback…
Disclaimer: None of this is to be legal or financial advice of any kind.
All great articles, piece by piece. Will make the time to give them a re-read. Appreciate you and all the effort.
Solid Stuff. Looking forward to the upward spiral!
