Welcome reader! Post based on what our Telegram (source) decided on. Age 27. The age when everything changes, and everything you thought you knew you don’t know anymore. Big changes. Friends disappoint you. Life shows you what it is all about. Reality checks left and right. We can all agree that 27 is the year when everything changes.
How Club 27 Influences Your Life
Club 27: Excluding famous deaths and astrological points like Saturn returns… If you are past 27, this read will make much sense, and you will nod often while reading this. If you are not 27 yet… This is a crucial one. What happens once you reach 27 is that things shift into another perspective. Things you used to find interesting now are ridiculous. Friends that you used to find inspiring are now looking like losers. Hobbies like playing video games or binge-watching Netflix make less sense than ever. If we had to sum up 27 in one word, it would be a year when everything clicks—one way or another. Sadly, many things are hard to process to the point of making you anxious. We suggest reflecting and searching for this pattern for those who have never considered this. There is a chance you also went through it and had a similar experience. No matter what anyone says, the ages between 26 and 28 are eye-opening for 80% of people. Most confront reality at 27. Leading to sudden desperation, anxiety, frustration, and disappointment. That is why it is such a hard year for many. Result? Many lose the fire in their eyes.
Look into the future: The main reason life can turn into a life of mediocrity and hopelessness is that by age 27. You are given a glimpse of the future. That childish optimism is gone. You finally grasp that if you find yourself working at McDonald's, putting fries into the bag… There is a small chance you will become the CEO of the oil and gas company you always dreamt about when you were younger. You realize that you have found yourself in one of the lifestyle traps (source). There is a slow and painful realization that there is no easy way out. Luckily, those reading this material do not need to worry. You already know what steps to take to move forward—understand that the only sure way to fail is to give up. However, that’s not always true for others. If you believe things won’t get better. Why even bother? It's time to relax, watch Netflix, and take it easy until the weekend arrives. When you repeat the same thing… The look into the future and where things are heading mixed with a reality check is the painful one. No one can deny it. Results often split individuals into two groups: 1) those who remain optimistic about the future and continue improving themselves, and 2) those who give up and settle for a life of mediocrity. If we had to put everything in one sentence. The year 27 separates those who want more from those who are satisfied with mediocrity.
Two categories: Winners and mediocrity. What is the difference between the two? How does 27 play a role here? You either wake up (having never fallen asleep in the first place) or stay asleep. This is a period in life where you realize what it is all about. You are getting older. The biological clock is ticking. You become aware that you are not a kid anymore. It is a transition period between being in the middle and shifting to one of the sides. Depending on which side you lean toward… What’s important here is that if you make the right choice, you will live a life leading to the right side. There will be something special. Massive amount of momentum and clarity on what you should focus on. The goal becomes clear. Focus sharpens. You become more serious. It is impossible to pinpoint what happens. But with more people you talk to about this. The more you realize that there’s something there. No matter how stupid and woo-woo it sounds, 27 is crucial for your future and will determine a lot.
Youth is the gift of nature, but age is a work of art. - Stanislaw Jerzy Lec
What 27 Brings - Things to Keep In Mind
In no particular order…
1) The only way to break free from the middle is to start your own business: If you are trying to escape the herd and are being realistic about it. You shouldn’t rely on chasing golden tickets or winning the lottery... Starting a business is the most crucial step toward your future. It is the ultimate vehicle that will provide you with the necessary freedom. We mention this here because around age 27, you will realize that trading your time for more money is impossible. Energy and time are limited resources. This means that the only way to get more is to find something where you won’t be exchanging your time for money. The answer? You should start your own business. Having an additional income and investing what is left after covering your business needs will take you places. Everyone reading this should understand it no matter what age they are. The only way to get ahead of the competition and your peers is by starting something that allows you to make money while you sleep.
2) Not everyone has the same priorities: There is a point where you will realize that pushing your ideas and views on the world doesn’t make much sense. It is a waste of time and energy. By age 27, the majority are well-defined personalities with certain world views—some with good and some with terrible ones. The point here is for you to realize that not everyone has the same fire in their eyes. Neither do they have the same passion for it. The sooner you accept that you cannot change it, the easier it will be for you. The only focus you should have is on yourself. Let your priorities be yours, and let others do what they do best. Avoid explaining yourself to others or putting your worldviews on them. Helping someone and setting them on the right path often leads to burnout without much results. Similar to those who give you advice that won’t get you anywhere (source). This is the time in your life when you start to realize that smile, nod and agree is a powerful method.
3) Those who don’t want to see you win get louder: When childlike optimism is gone. That is when those who doubt others get louder. Why? It is a coping mechanism. You can’t do this. You can’t do that. Noise. They say something can’t be done because they cannot do it themselves. Why can't they do it? They lack the optimism, energy, and vision. Does that mean you can’t do it? No. You want to start ignoring those types at all costs. 80% of the things you have ever imagined can be achieved after 27—the best is yet to come. It will be easier because you will not be as easily distracted as earlier in life. This is just another reminder that negative characters should be removed from your life as soon as possible.
4) You begin to see your friends for who they really are: You have a million memories with them. You can count on them. You can trust that they want to get more out of life. At the same time, that is usually not the reality… There comes a moment when you realize that not all your friends are as energetic individuals like you. Neither all of them are going to win—which is a painful one. They prefer watching Netflix instead of talking about business. They prefer drinking a beer instead of hitting the gym. Betting on the future? Forget that. Let’s watch a game instead. All of this is normal. That is how most people around you operate. What you need to learn is how to be okay with it. It will get harder for you to relate to and understand their thoughts. Does that mean you should avoid them? No. We would go so far as to say you should be fine with it to the point of losing them out of your life. Simply because you no longer have any touchpoints anymore. It is all in the past when you had different priorities. It is a hard pill to swallow, but you must realize that it is normal to grow apart over time. The difficult part is learning to respect them for who they are—which is a much harder part of the story. Most never get to that point. Especially if you are a high achiever with big plans—you might start to despise them and there is so much you can do about it. Building a social group that is competitive and shares your vision for a better future is something you should focus on.
5) Split friend groups: To add more to the point above. To ensure you are getting the most out of your social life. What you should do is categorize friends based on their different interests. Travel groups. Business groups. Fitness groups. This is just a basic example. But one that, based on your interests, will make the most sense. It will also eliminate the need to talk about business if you are with your traveling friends. They are not interested and you won’t feel frustrated if they are not responding to it or don’t care about it. Usually, those in their late 30s and 40s operate based on this principle, and there is a good reason for this.
The more sand has escaped from the hourglass of our life, the clearer we should see through it. - Niccolo Machiavelli
6) There is a realization that no one is coming to save you: A big reason why 27 is a reality check and a painful one for most. You subconsciously understand that you are no longer a child and can’t expect free passes from others. You are a grown individual, and no one is coming to save you from your own actions. This truth is based on what you are currently doing and the path you have decided to take. Suppose you have not played your cards. There is a good chance you will realize how miserable and hard you have it. For some odd reason 27 is there and will remind you of that. Choice? It's time to start putting in more effort than ever before. The choices are simple: 1) mediocrity and being fine with what has happened to this point of your life, and 2) ignoring it and looking for a better tomorrow. You are the only one you can blame for your future.
7) Body slowing down: If you are not taking care of your health and body. It is a good time to start doing it now. There is a huge chance that you will look like the average guy you used to make fun of in high school. But you somehow found a way to justify it—your schedule is tight, or you are working too much. Not taking care of your body shows on a physical part. Health issues are not just as far into the future as they used to be when you turned 20. Everything will hit you at once, and those who neglect their bodies begin to experience problems—walking three floors and being completely out of breath? Not normal. Not to mention any other examples, as there are many. The older you get, the more effort will be required to stay in shape or avoid getting fat. The late 20s will start pushing you into a more strict diet and fitness regimen. Avoiding processed food and doing cardio at least three times a week will automatically place you in the top 10%. That is the least you can do for yourself. More energy, clarity, and overall efficiency. It is impossible not to notice the difference when you compare your life in a proper fitness routine to one without it.
8) Energy becoming a less common resource: We often talk about energy being one of the most important factors of someone's success. It doesn’t take a genius to notice the pattern, with those with stuff going on in their life being high-energy people. Energy plays a huge role and is the most valuable resource you could have next to the time. Think about it for a moment all the successful people you know have high energy. On the opposite side, you have those who are always tired or not feeling it. What do those achieve? Not much. This applies to everything. Since we know the two most important resources. Where does that leave us? No one can impact the time. Yet everyone can work on improving their energy. This directly connects with the point above. Most of the energy gets taken care of with the proper diet and regime. The other part of the story is a mindset, your view of the world, and the people you surround yourself with. Your goal should always be to have a positive outlook and surround yourself with people who share the same ideas. We are not trying to sound like a Bali Yoga instructor… But those factors do have an impact on your life. One of your goals should always be looking for things that spark your energy, creativity, and imagination. That is how you get a life worth living.
9) There is no time to waste: Those already past 27 can relate to this. As you grow older, you start to respect your time more. What do we mean by that? If you know you are not 100% into it, there is a good chance you will pass on it. Another common example for those who already run a business is that they recognize that time is precious. Spending 40 minutes on an ad for your affiliate campaign makes more sense than watching a Netflix show. You realize that you don’t have time. Less of it to waste on useless things that won’t help you forward. If you are having difficulty figuring out what is worth it or not. The things you are wasting your time on should either 1) put you in a better position than yesterday (health, finances, social circle) or 2) provide relaxation after a hard day. No, Netflix doesn’t fit the second category. Instead, choose a book that stimulates your mind (source). For those who don't believe that time is fragile—take a look below.

10) Get used to being alone: You are in maximum pain mode if you don't realize that being alone is essential for your growth and idea generation. Completely getting rid of FOMO and other distracting things that many in their early 20s suffer from is mandatory. The sooner you become comfortable with your own thoughts and eliminate background music or distractions such as social media or podcasts… The better. Silence and being alone are luxuries in today’s world. All of us are capable of big ideas and breakthroughs. Yet, after having our heads blasted with a ridiculous amount of content. Those big ideas we have got lost. You need silence. You need peace. You need space to think. These elements will enable you to make smarter and better decisions in the long run. You must learn to be comfortable with yourself. The same applies to your social circle. If you know nothing good or positive will happen you are better off being alone than wasting your time with bad company. We could argue that if you don't learn by 27, what we mentioned is a luxury… You never will.
11) Painful realization you will always be underpaid. Those who follow a plan similar to ours (source) spend 4 to 5 years working for someone else. There is a good chance that, no matter how much effort you put in or what kind of value you bring to your employer. You are getting underpaid. It is a painful truth that will take time to process and even longer to understand. This is where companies start to put the golden handcuffs on you. By the age of 27, if you have played your cards right… You can present yourself in a positive light that will make others notice you. This is when interesting job offers become more common, and higher positions are presented to you. Ones where you can make a comfortable living by trading most of your waking hours. Everyone who has spent time in the corporate environment (source) understands it is a trap. No matter what position or what kind of package they offer you. Be smart and remember that starting your own business and investing your time in it will be bigger leverage.
12) Self-destructive behavior: Any form of self-destructive behavior should not exist at this point in your life. If you still have not removed it completely—there is a good chance you will never get rid of it. Huge negative. When we talk about self-destructive behavior—we are talking about making small mistakes and taking them to the extreme. No matter how big or small it is. It is an unhealthy relationship with life that will always hold you back. This is especially true if you work in a professional environment where being cold-headed is necessary. When it comes to this the 27 is the latest stop. Where you have to learn how to transform self-destructive behavior into something that will provide you with inner rage to take things further. That rage you feel when you know you have messed it up if appropriately channeled, can be one of the most important tools in the arsenal that you can possess. It is a curse and a blessing. Curse if you don’t know how to handle it, and a blessing if you do.
13) There are no rules in life: Something you will notice as you grow older. No one is playing fair. Everyone is playing the game to win and in their own favor. People tell you they will do X but ultimately do Y. Were you promised a new position by your boss? Maybe next year. The business department promised a 20% increase compared to last year. Better luck next time. Being realistic while maintaining a proper dose of optimism is what it is all about. More so when it comes to business. As long as there are no penalties or consequences for the other side… There are no rules. This doesn’t mean you should not trust anyone. It means you should be prepared to get burned when playing with fire—minimize all necessary risks. It is a formula for long-term success.
14) Optimal results require routine: Energy levels will decrease, and life will get busier. There is a realization that one of the things you should keep in mind is that having a routine that works for you and knowing whether you are a morning type or a late one will do wonders for your productivity. There is no doubt that 2 hours of focused work can easily beat 4 to 6 non-focused one. A routine helps you find that medium and always push yourself to end up in that zone. Even if you may not feel up to it or sense something is off. You will still be able to perform and get the job done. It also puts you in a position where you cannot slack off or take it easy because you already have something else planned for the latter. Self-explanatory. No one with a serious schedule should struggle with this concept because life puts you in a routine. However, for those who are just getting started or still figuring out what to do to get the most out of their day. Finding out and basing your day around the morning or night routine will give you the most output with the least input (source).
15) You need a hobby or two: Car racing. Art. Writing online articles. You need interests and hobbies to fill your time when you are not working for your employer or trying to start your business. Otherwise, you risk becoming a boring individual who can't hold a conversation—extra points if the topics are unrelated to your job. It is also worth mentioning that it will increase the quality of life and give you that necessary break. Avoid normie hobbies (source) such as watching mainstream media or spending weekends in front of your TV. You are better off trying to spark your imagination or generating income from your hobby. Creativity and creative work hold high value and are underrated. No one seems to grasp that if you are creative, you can apply that to your business and come up with angles others are not seeing—this is what affiliate marketing is all about (source). Having a hobby makes you an interesting person and allows you to access higher circles you never thought possible. People respect others who are experts at something or are passionate about it. Spending time with wealthy people changes your perspective and offers unique insights into why this is true.
16) Learning never stops: Everyone experiences this realization differently. Some realize they will never be good enough. While others recognize that to be the best, you can’t stop. No matter what you are trying to achieve or become better at, there is a realization (common sense) that the only way to compete with the best is by becoming obsessed and keeping up with the latest happening. There is no other way to say it. Do you want to compete with the big players? Learning about an industry, niche, or product is mandatory and will never stop. Are the competitors moving forward? It means you will have to move forward as well. Thinking that you won't need to learn anything new just because you are out of college. Nonsense. The same approach to upgrading your life applies to every other area. Suppose you are good at X thing and running laps around your peers. That doesn’t mean you have time to take it easy. It means you have a head start until others catch up with you.
17) Mainstream advice is terrible: How often have there been huge misses regarding mainstream advice? Especially in the last decade. For someone reading posts like this and browsing the right side of the internet—this part of the internet. There is no reason to consume anything pushed by the big media. Stick to the niche experts and work to avoid the noise. We include this under this post because it should have been common sense and something you figured out much earlier than 27. For those still struggling and thinking that it is in the best interest of big media to publish something that works in their favor... You are wrong. Everyone is playing their own game and is doing something similar to what the gurus don’t want you to discover (source). This is something you should be aware of in your late twenties.
18) Remind yourself that the best time is yet to come: Those who think they have peaked in the past… They have peaked. Should you believe that your best is behind you? Not at all. You are only 27. The life is in front of you. The big dreams you always had are going to become a reality. There are many memories that you have yet to create. Life is beautiful. There is only one requirement. Never believe that your best is behind you. Everyone who has been reading this website already knows the answer… The best is yet to come.
Wishing everyone a weekend full of wins.

I’m 25 and I feel like I’m already grasping what you have written.
This is a brilliant post, and I resonate with a lot of things that you have mentioned in it. Thank you for this.
