Welcome, reader! If someone had told us a few years ago that we would write the newsletter one day, we would have laughed them out of the room. But here we are publishing article number 100. Better said sending out the newsletter number 100. No one can deny it’s funny how life works. There are loads of lessons, style changes, and content ideas that have yet to come to life. In short? We are working on bringing you quality content that you can apply to your life - making you more efficient. Today’s article? Bit different. It is more like a reflection and one to help you pick the next read.
Our Favorites
Picks: Our readers have asked us multiple times where to start and what one should focus on first. There is no answer to that question - everyone's situation is different. Find the most applicable material to your situation and ignore the rest. Diving deeper into it until you are confident enough, there is nothing more to get out of. Often being asked what our best article is… It feels like the proper time to pick out our ten favorites. We are not saying our picks will benefit you. But they will be useful to the majority.
In no particular order.
1) Python: Automate Your 9-5: This article slipped under the radar for the most. Depending on your 9 to 5 situation, there is room to maneuver and get extra free time in the week by doing a few simple automations. Two Weeks of Python basics, some courage, and a little thinking are all it takes. This article is a must-read if you are in a serious professional environment but doing repeated tasks - most office white-collar workers fit those criteria.
2) Social Skills? The Most Important Skill In The Next 10 Years: You already know our take on it. The technical field is leveling up, meaning you must look for things others won’t to get an advantage over them. One of them? Social skills. Next on the list? Creativity. In the next ten years, focus on both and watch yourself have an advantage over your peers - extra points if you are technically capable.
3) Maximize Efficiency Without Sacrificing Your Life: Starting point - enough said. We would argue this could be considered the most "important read". Why? It should serve as a starting point to better understand your goal. Better said to help you focus on what matters. Giving you a rough guideline on what areas you should be focusing on.
Time is the scarcest resource and unless it is managed nothing else can be managed. - Peter Drucker
4) "Expensive" Blackhat Social Proof: Pretty basic concept, yet one most people are not aware of. You want social proof? We are bringing you an interesting, straight-to-the-point short read on achieving results with minimal investment and maneuvering. A solid way to get your name on Forbes, Tech Crunch, or any other serious website. It is the perfect method for those who are building the social proof.
5) A Practical Guide On How To Break Into Tech Sales: What is there to add? 75+ page guide on what to do and what steps to take to get yourself in a position where, with minimal experience - you can achieve a solid quality of life. Tech sales are one of those rare careers worth pursuing. Getting yourself into a big logo company, being surrounded by high-performing individuals, and building the business on the side is an unbeatable combination. Are you lost when it comes to your career path? This is a solid one to take.
6) Contract Stacking And WiFi Money: No matter what anyone says about the contract work and what has happened to the quality of the contract work in the last few years. Contract stacking is still one of the best ways to start WiFi money. Once you get a reputation and hold a few clients in your portfolio. While expanding and outsourcing your work… Cash flow gets predictable, and things get easier. Don’t sleep on trading your time for money when starting your side business adventure.
7) How Not to Waste Your 20s: Article on how to position yourself as a naive 20 year old. Not just how to position yourself but how to behave and what to expect from others. Applicable advice that anyone could start using to make their life better. Are you younger than 20? Consider yourself lucky. You found a goldmine. Advice we would want to read in our 20s.
8) Why You Want To Run Lean Business: Forget about partnerships. Forget about splitting equity with others. We are so lucky to have everything available with a few clicks that the majority should not even bother hiring anyone to help them - speaking for those running WiFi money businesses. Ignore the noise and run your business as lean as possible. Minimal expenses, no workers, geographical independence, and everything else fit that picture. Less is more.
9) VPN Arbitrage Guide: How To Make Money With It: Not something we would recommend doing in the long run. Similar to contract stacking and starting your WiFi adventure, there are benefits to doing what we have described in the article, and something those living in third-world countries could use to their advantage. One of the easiest ways to start your side business and WiFi money.
10) Corporate Etiquette Cheat Sheet - Thriving In The Corporate World: We would argue this was one of the better corporate articles written in the last few years that we have seen on the internet. Applicable, straight to the point, and minimal bs. All the criteria you want from a good article. Are you playing the corporate game? Read the article and start practicing what has been mentioned. You are guaranteed to get a promotion and raises following the principles.
Old Articles: When looking into the old articles, the best way we can put it is that we are not satisfied with how we did some of them. Unfortunately, we suffer every few months, feeling that our work a few months ago was not on the point and could be improved. The writing style and the whole point we are trying to bring changed. It’s normal, which is why our audience sophistication in the last three months increased. Our point? Articles we feel are not the standard we want will be moved from the public into our private archive. We can ensure it’s not over 10% but we felt obliged to mention it. This way we give ourselves "a second chance" to pull them off better. In each case, if you know how to use archive.org (you should), you will have access to old stuff - there are already a few snapshots available.
Plans For The Future
Newsletter: What are our plans? The truth? There are many. The main idea is still the same. Providing you with applicable advice that will make you more efficient. You already know our goal. Less input and more output. We are satisfied with how things are looking regarding our latest work and where we ended up compared to where we were. Landing between ten and fifteen individuals into tech sales last year and helped multiple people start their side businesses. Overall feedback has been more than positive in the previous couple of months. The idea is to stick to that and expand on the concepts that will help you in your career, skills, and money making - hard to beat those three. Bringing your life quality up.
Telegram Group: We are doing much better than before overall. The quality of the members has improved, and the questions have improved since we started. The resource section is one of the best ones we have seen in any paid group. We plan to keep it that way and work on a better system to organize everything. Telegram is not that friendly regarding moderation and organizing - our take. The idea is to ship course-like material that will be available to all group members - depending on how busy we get. Other news regarding the Telegram group? Most likely, we are pausing with the new members to implement the waitlist. Considering there are 217 members right now.
It is worth mentioning those 543 messages are only links or PDFs.
Price: We shared this earlier with the Telegram group. What we do on this level and the price we charge. No one is beating us in "economics", and we plan to keep it that way. However, we need to disqualify those who are not serious and are using those 6$ as an excuse to bother us with questions that could've been found on Google in two minutes. We have decided to increase the subscription price by 0.05$ per day. Dramatical change, especially if you have followed our advice working remotely and running multiple side businesses. This means a subscription starting from the 1st of July will cost 7.49$ per month. There will be no change for those with yearly options or the founders. This price increase is more than justified, and we plan on revising the price after a certain article milestone. The 10$ price is a sweet spot for our offer, but we are building long-term relationships instead of focusing on cash flow - leaving that for hungry gurus trying to sell you their newest course. Giving everyone the ability to make the most out of their situation.
We mean it when we say we are beating everyone in the economics part - the new price won’t change that either.
Summary: Milestone achieved. More quality articles. Telegram changes. Price increase. Thanks again to all our readers - the best is yet to come.
