Hello ladies, gents, cartoon animals, and others.
Something different than the usual Sales content. More of a lifestyle - mindset, winning all those terms that go hand in hand with the Sales - yet we have never talked about it.
Still, the main focus of the Substack will be on sales and WiFi money. Sometimes, we will post more “Lifestyle” articles.
Idea here?
Give out practical life advice that is not motivational garbage, but something that you could apply and grow. Time will tell. Most often, individuals struggle with self-beliefs and limitations. Now, add into the mix a society that is trying to reinforce certain methods and beliefs. You are in for the ride. One of the highest ROIs you could do for yourself is to start believing in yourself and listening to your consciousness.
You Can’t Win If…
What you should do right now:
Piece of paper
Pen
15 minutes without distractions
Make a list of everything you have accomplished that someone else has told you you would never be able to do. Some examples include your career, university, financial goals, and even your love life.
Now ask yourself while looking at that piece of paper:
How much would my life be different?
Listening to others and reinforcing my negative belief system (their beliefs about myself) that I am not capable of achieving those.
We would bet your life would be drastically different from what it is right now.
Good thing you didn’t listen to others, which in most cases you should not at all. Most advice out there is mediocre at best, if not terrible at this point. Just look at what is currently happening with the economic situation and how things are going. Or not going.
That’s what you get when you listen to someone else advice and not trust your gut. No one talks about this. But in our daily lives most of our “success” comes down to our internal belief systems.
What if we had two belief systems fighting with each other?
One positive belief system and one negative belief system.
Repetitive Reinforcements
Since we boil everything down to our internal belief systems, our life's successes and failures are also revolving around them. Do you have certain ideas and goals in your mind that you are not sure you will achieve?
Let’s hope your positive belief system beats the negative one.
What you should start realizing today is that building a belief system is not an easy task. It’s a long process that requires individuals to have a “certain” work ethic toward goals and future vision.
Now, to make things more complicated. It’s important to mention since we are talking about our internal systems - not everyone has the same starting point.
You can’t expect to close 500k this month if you didn’t even close 5k in your life
You cant expect to bench 225 lbs if you didn’t even bench 180 lbs yet
These two are quite obvious and basic examples. But you should not need anything more to get to the point. It’s important to take into consideration that not all of us have the same starting point in our lives.
What if you are 18yrs old high T kid who has been playing football since you were 14 years old? Well, you are going to find benching 225 lbs is a joke for you.
What about someone who is 45 years old and for the first time in the gym? It’s not such an easy task to do. The best solution in that sense?
Stop comparing yourself with others.
The only thing you get by comparing yourself with others is doubt.
Am I smart enough to learn X?
Am I strong enough to light Y?
Am I capable of getting a career at Z?
Constantly reinforcing a negative belief system
Positive Belief System > Negative Belief System
What do you need in your daily life?
Small victories.
Your mindset will drastically change once you start feeling little victories adding up. The personal change you are going to experience is on another level. You will start seeing yourself differently and treating yourself better.
Humans are funny in that sense how little do we need to start thinking better about ourselves? Ever had a fat friend who lost 20+ lbs and now is acting like a different person? That is exactly our point. Positive changes are carrying over too many areas. Depending on what your goal was and in what area of your life you are having success (better said small victory) e.g. your goal was to bench 225 lbs you made it for 10 reps.
Congrats.
What is the result of that “small” victory?
Most likely, your posture will benefit from it since your hormones will be all fired up from that victory, plus your positive belief system will be rocking. Both are clear indicators of “winning” and having a positive outlook.
When you are being realistic and planning “small” victories you are setting yourself up for the win in the long run. The idea here is not to clown and make unrealistically easy tasks.
But instead, something that you will need a proper execution plan to reach. Something that will create a certain outcome that you can’t fake, or better said, it will give you an outlook you can’t fake.
Developing a positive belief system comes down to a few factors:
Not comparing yourself with others (since all of us have different starting points)
Proper goal setting (“small” victories)
Repetition of certain tasks and activities (execution)
Certain outcome (depends on your victory/execution)
Building up the pattern of positive reinforcement
Big vision
Result?
You are an unstoppable force that no one can’t move from your chosen path.
What about a negative belief system?
Not much to add here.
Make sure you don’t listen to others and don’t set yourself up with a goal that you for sure know is not reachable soon. Repeating most advice is mediocre at best. A good example of poor goal setting is individuals who are yet to start their WiFi money journey but are already aiming at 10k a month.
You first need 100$ then you can start thinking about 1k. The key is to believe in yourself but, at the same time, stay realistic with your goals.
Constant Positive Belief System = Winning
To develop a constant positive belief system there is a need to constantly evaluate your approaches and methods while keeping the same end goal in mind.
One of the best things you could do during your “slow times” is to reflect on what you were doing and what you were doing differently while your positive belief system was firing.
You are reminding yourself that you are your own biggest critic and that only you can “harm” your positive belief system.
In sales, you will have weeks when everything will go extremely smoothly - calls with prospects will feel like Discord calls with your buddies while playing CoD.
Talking to random women you just met will feel like talking with your grandma about the soup she made for you on Sunday. There are many examples where things go smoothly.
What if it was all because your positive system was fired up the whole time?
Mostly, we are not even aware that our positive belief system is projecting something or causing something that we project/present ourselves differently.
Remember that being extreme is not always the best route → when it comes to building your positive belief system. Instead, the daily effort is what you should strive for because it will compound over time.
Once you get in the habit of building up a positive belief system it’s a different game.
